Job summary

SKG Services is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to support compliance across our Facilities Services operations. This role ensures the organisation meets regulatory, contractual and client obligations across the Group.

The Compliance Officer will oversee a broad range of activities, coordinating audits, maintaining documentation and reporting, and providing guidance to internal teams to ensure risk is identified and mitigated.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in compliance, governance, risk or audit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain compliance with legislation, regulations and contracts.
• Coordinate ISO and client audits including preparation and follow-up actions.
• Manage labour hire licensing and compliance.
• Maintain compliance records, registers, documentation and reporting.
• Provide compliance guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Identify compliance gaps and corrective actions.
• Support risk management and governance framework.

SKG Services is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to support compliance across our diverse operations within Facilities Services. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory, legislative, contractual and client compliance obligations across the Group.

About the Role

The Compliance Officer will oversee and coordinate a broad range of compliance activities, ensuring requirements are understood, monitored and maintained across the business.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to include:

• Monitoring and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, industry requirements and contractual obligations.
• Managing and monitoring security and defence clearances for employees and relevant personnel.
• Coordinating ISO and client audits, including preparation, documentation, evidence and follow-up actions.
• Monitoring labour hire licensing and compliance requirements.
• Supporting security licensing and regulatory compliance across relevant operations.
• Maintaining compliance records, registers, documentation and reporting.
• Monitoring the ongoing compliance of employees, contractors and service providers.
• Identifying compliance gaps, risks and areas requiring corrective action.
• Working with operational and corporate teams to implement and maintain appropriate compliance processes.
• Supporting the Group's broader risk management and governance framework.
• Providing compliance advice and guidance to internal stakeholders where required.
• Ensuring compliance documentation is accurate, current and readily available for audits and client requirements.

About You

• Previous 3-5 years experience in compliance, governance, risk, audit or a related role.
• Experience working across multiple business units or operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, contractual and licensing requirements.
• Experience coordinating audits, including ISO or client audits.
• Experience managing compliance registers, documentation and reporting.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying compliance risks.
