Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a casual Bus Driver at Castle Hill Village to provide safe transport for residents, helping them access appointments, activities and community connections. You will work with village teams and clinical staff, maintain the vehicle and schedules, and support resident wellbeing with a courteous, patient, and customer‑focused approach.

This role requires a NSW Light Rigid licence for 10+ seat bus, a current First Aid certificate, and the ability to assist residents with

Qualifications

• Current NSW Light Rigid (LR) Licence for 10+ seat bus.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Ability to confidently operate vehicles of 3 tonnes or more.
• Ability to assist residents with varying mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents throughout the Seniors Communities site and local community.
• Operate the vehicle safely and efficiently in accordance with road rules and organisational policies.
• Maintain transport schedules and ensure services run as smoothly as possible.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect and empathy and provide appropriate assistance to residents accessing transport services.
• Work cooperatively with village teams, clinic staff and Residential Care teams to coordinate transport services.
• Act as a key contact between villages and the Sisson Clinic regarding resident transport arrangements.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding schedules and transport requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy vehicle and work environment.
• Comply with workplace health and safety requirements and safe driving practices.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and risks in a timely manner.
• Maintain current First Aid certification and provide first aid assistance when required.
