Job summary

Access Health and Community invites applications for a Casual Aged Care Support Worker who also drives a 12-seater bus to transport clients to outings and activities in Melbourne's inner and outer regions. The role focuses on social support, independence, and wellbeing for adults 65+.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Support Worker role within an aged or community program.
• A Victorian driver’s license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Compliance requirements: National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Aged Care Banning Order registry check, evidence of right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team in development of initial care plan reviews and other client documentation.
• Assist with continuous improvement by seeking feedback from participants and their carers.
• Drive and operate a 12-seater community bus safely and confidently.
• Facilitate community outings, excursions and recreational activities.
• Support clients to participate in group activities and wellbeing programs.
