Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs in our aged care setting.

You will assess residents, develop and review care plans, administer medications, recognise deterioration, and work with families and the multidisciplinary team to enhance quality of life. Casual availability and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Empathy, respect and resilience in elder care.
• Current RN registration with AHPRB.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance and good communication.
• Sound nursing knowledge and safe resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement and review individual care plans.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Recognise and escalate resident deterioration, incidents and near misses.
• Apply infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak precautions.
• Support care team members to deliver safe, person-centred care.
