Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs. You’ll work with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to identify changes early and support each resident’s quality of life.

You’ll assess, plan and review care, administer medications, and document accurately while applying infection control practices and contributing to a supportive, person-centred team environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, safe resident care and clinical escalation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement and review individual care plans.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Recognise and respond to resident deterioration, incidents and near misses.
• Apply infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak precautions.
• Support care team members to deliver safe, person-centred care.
