Job summary

Spinal Life Australia invites dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team delivering in-home care to clients with spinal cord injuries in Greenslopes and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered support, helping with daily activities, mobility, personal care and medication assistance.

We offer structured rosters, extensive onboarding, ongoing development, and penalty rates for weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening and authentic communication.
• Ability to work a fixed fortnightly roster.
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card required or willing to obtain.
• Experience in the field or relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (hoist use).
• Deliver personal care including toileting and continence care.
• Provide basic wound care and assist with self-medication.
• Offer domestic support such as meal prep, household tasks and laundry.
