Job summary

Blue Care in Gympie is seeking a Personal Carer to provide compassionate in-home and residential care within a residential aged care facility. You will support daily living activities, uphold each client’s care plan, and help patients stay connected through social and community activities.

The role values person-centred care, teamwork, and the use of smartphones, tablets, and laptops to assist in daily tasks. Hybrid and not-for-profit benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with technology such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
• Ability to pass probity checks including NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Commitment to person-centred care and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Deliver care in accordance with each client's Care Plan.
• Support participation in community and social activities.
