Western Diagnostic Pathology in Katherine is seeking a Pathology Collector to gather blood and other samples while delivering a compassionate, professional experience to every patient. You will ensure samples are handled accurately to support timely diagnosis, maintain records, and assist with daily site operations.

The role offers full-time hours with a training program through Healius Academy and opportunities to grow within a leading Australian diagnostic network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• Background in healthcare or strong customer-facing experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
