Job summary

Healius is recruiting a Pathology Collector in Albany, Western Australia, to join Western Diagnostic Pathology. You will collect blood and other samples, delivering a welcoming, professional experience to patients and ensuring samples are handled accurately to support timely diagnosis.

This casual role includes a 6-week paid training program through the Healius Academy, with initial full-time hours for the first two weeks followed by a minimum of 25 hours per week, reflecting our flexible

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential
• Background in healthcare or strong customer-facing experience

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site
