Job summary

Healius is seeking a Pathology Collector for a permanent part-time role, 20 hours weekly, with early morning shifts on weekdays. You will collect blood and other samples, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort, while maintaining records and supporting daily site operations.

The role offers training through Healius Academy and a pathway to grow within a leading Australian healthcare network, focusing on quality care and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• A background in healthcare (e.g. aged care, disability, nursing) or strong customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
