Aequra's St Charbel aged care residence in Punchbowl, NSW, is hiring for a Nursing Assistant on a full-time or part-time basis. Join a modern, inclusive team delivering safe, holistic care to residents with supportive families and diverse backgrounds.

We welcome compassionate caregivers who can work AM or PM shifts, communicate well, and contribute to care plans and activities. Competitive hourly rate offered based on shift times and experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Ageing Support or Individual Support.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Nursing Assistant in Residential Aged Care.
• Compassionate and caring.
• Commitment to allocated shifts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Enjoys working in partnership with residents and their family.
• Positive attitude and works well as part of a team.
• Understanding of culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe and holistic care for residents, including nursing and emotional care, food handling and feeding.
• Support residents' activities with the wider team (e.g., mobility and meaningful recreational activities).
• Participate and contribute to residents' care plans.
