Job summary

Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd is seeking Domestic Assistants to support clients at home in Cairns. The role involves cleaning, unescorted shopping and in-home respite services, working within Mercy Home Care Cairns.

You will join a compassionate team, with a casual contract, and you’ll use a PC to access information, communicate effectively, and maintain client confidentiality. Current NDIS Screening and First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• A current NDIS Screening Check.
• Current Driver's license, reliable vehicle with registration and insurance.
• First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Clear verbal communication and accurate documentation.
• Ability to use a PC and digital device to access and download information.
• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with a range of clients and their families and maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
