Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a compassionate Domestic Assistant for Mercy Home Care Cairns on a casual basis. You will perform cleaning, unescorted shopping, and in-home respite services to help clients remain independent at home.

You will communicate clearly, document accurately, and use a PC/digital device to access information while maintaining confidentiality. The role requires a current NDIS Screening Check, a valid driver’s license with vehicle, and First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal communication and accurate documentation.
• Ability to use a PC and digital device to access and download information.
• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with a range of clients and their families and maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Current NDIS Screening Check (as required).
• Current Driver's license with reliable vehicle and insurance.
• First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities
