Job summary

Mercy Health in Canberra is seeking a Domestic Assistant to support Home Care clients living independently at home with cleaning and laundry duties. This casual role offers flexible hours, a mobile phone, and ongoing support from a dedicated service team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Home or Aged Care is advantageous, but not essential.
• Passion for helping people with strong relationship building, time management and budget skills.
• Current Drivers Licence; strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet clients’ individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry to Home Care clients.
• Support clients to live independently at home.
• Coordinate with a dedicated service team.
• Use mobile phone for job coordination and updates.
• Flexible working hours to meet client needs.
