Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking kind, compassionate Domestic Assistants to support clients at home across the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie region.

In this casual role, you will provide cleaning, unescorted shopping and in-home respite, work with a supportive local team, and help patients live independently with dignity.

Applicants must have a current NDIS Screening Check, a valid driver’s license, and First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Evidence of, or in the process of obtaining, NDIS Screening Check.
• Current driver's license with reliable vehicle, registration and insurance.
• First Aid Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and in-home respite services to clients at home.
• Assist with unescorted shopping in local Newcastle/Lake Macquarie areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with clients and families.
