Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to support aged care clients in Port Macquarie and surrounding areas. The role covers home help and personal care to maintain independence and wellbeing.

You should have at least 3 months in a similar role, a valid Australian driver’s licence, and your own insured vehicle. The position offers guaranteed hours and a competitive award rate with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months’ experience in a similar care role.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping, bed making, and cleaning.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
• Deliver personal care including mobility support and medication assistance.
• Support clients with mobility and high care needs as required.
• Transport clients to activities and appointments.
