Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a Care Worker to support aged care clients in Redbank and surrounding areas. The role covers home help and personal care, with duties including housekeeping, meal prep, medication support and mobility assistance.

Requirements include at least 3 months in a similar role, a valid Australian driver’s licence with a insured vehicle, and the ability to work independently. Training programs and CPR/First Aid courses are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months experience in a similar professional role.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and own insured vehicle.
• Experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping and keep living spaces tidy.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
• Deliver personal care: assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing.
• Assist clients with medications and mobility/therapy goals.
• Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments and support family carers.
