Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker to provide essential and practical support to elderly clients in their own homes across Nowra, Kiama and surrounding suburbs. This permanent part-time role offers flexible hours, a focus on independence, and compassionate care.

You will ensure tasks such as housekeeping, meal prep, transport, and personal care are carried out with dignity, while supporting clients to maintain independence in their homes.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.
• Provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
