RDNS Your Choice HomeCare is seeking a dedicated Home Care Support Worker to assist with domestic tasks, personal care and mobility for elderly clients in Northcote and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes compassionate companionship, safety, and independence for clients in their own homes.

Applicants should have Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support, at least 12 months’ home care experience, and valid First Aid/ CPR with police check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Support or similar.
• A minimum of 12 months’ experience in home care (aged care or in-home support).
• Current First Aid, CPR and Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance: light housekeeping, meal prep, ironing and laundry.
• Personal Care: dressing, grooming, showering, bathing, toileting, nutrition and eating.
• Transport and Mobility: local travel to appointments and activities by vehicle.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; engage in meaningful conversations and ensure safety for clients.
