Job summary

UPA Aged Care Solutions currently seeks a Home Care Worker to join our Western region in Dubbo. You will deliver person-centred in-home care, assisting with daily activities and health support in a not-for-profit setting.

Responsibilities include personal care, medications, transport, and domestic tasks. A current Australian Driver's Licence, a vehicle, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support and Aged Care is highly desirable.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.
• Registered and insured vehicle.
• Compassion, empathy and a passion for helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confidence in using technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised care using a person-centred approach as per client care plans.
• Assist with personal care, medications, transport, and respite services.
• Provide everyday living support such as domestic assistance, gardening, shopping, and meal preparation.
• Complete accurate and timely reporting of client services.
• Identify and report client risks via our incident management system.
