Job summary

Silverchain is hiring a Care Worker in Parramatta and surrounding areas. You will support aged care clients at home with everyday tasks, from housekeeping to personal care, helping maintain independence and wellbeing.

The role requires at least 3 months in a similar setting, a valid Australian Driver's Licence and a roadworthy, insured vehicle. Benefits include an award rate of 34.42 AUD/hour, employer contributions, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Comfortable delivering personal care and basic household tasks.
• Able to build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Able to adapt to changing situations and traffic delays.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, bed making, cleaning, laundry and meal planning.
• Assist clients with daily living and mobility including medications.
• Provide social and emotional support and transport to activities or appointments.
