Qualifications

• Experience in the funeral industry desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathise and provide compassionate support to grieving families.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills to coordinate complex funeral arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with bereaved families to understand their needs and guide them through the funeral planning process.
• Coordinating all aspects of funeral arrangements, including transportation, venue bookings, and coordination with external service providers.
• A current full driver’s licence is required for transportation duties.
• Preparing and maintaining documentation related to funeral services.
• Ensuring the respectful and dignified handling of the deceased.
• Providing emotional support and guidance to families during this difficult time.
• Maintaining the funeral home facilities and equipment to high standards.
