Job summary

RDNS Your Choice HomeCare in Melbourne is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to assist elderly clients at home with daily tasks and companionship. This role suits people who value meaningful connections and flexible hours within a caring team.

You will perform light domestic duties, personal care, and transport duties, building relationships and ensuring safety and comfort for clients while adhering to care plans and policies.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or similar.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in home care (aged care or in-home support).
• Current First Aid, CPR and Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance: light housekeeping, meal prep, ironing and laundry.
• Personal care: dressing, grooming, showering, toileting, nutrition and eating.
• Transport and mobility: community access and errands by vehicle.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients.
• Report changes or concerns to the supervisor.
