Job summary

Beacon Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to deliver client-focused services under a client-specific Support Plan aligned with NDIS standards. You will provide activities of daily living, companionship and capacity-building support, while coordinating with the Care Services Coordinator and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Disability Support, Aged Care, Individual Support, or related field.
• Experience in disability, aged care, or related field preferred if unqualified.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living per client needs, including personal care and planning.
• Engage with clients, provide companionship, and maintain professional boundaries.
• Promote routines to build capacity, independence and wellbeing.
• Ensure supports align with Beacon Support policies and Positive Behaviour Support.
• Deliver specialised care for clients with complex needs.
• Help clients develop awareness of strengths and support strategies.
• Support client goals and facilitate community access activities.
• Maintain client records and report incidents and feedback promptly.
