Job summary

GD CareHub is looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team and provide quality support to an NDIS participant.

You will assist with daily activities, enable community access, encourage independence and provide companionship, while respecting privacy and dignity. The role requires a Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, and prior support work experience is preferred. Based in Sydney, NSW.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and respectful attitude in daily support.
• Willingness to obtain Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Previous support work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Community access and participation for the participant.
• Supporting the participant with daily activities and independence.
• Providing companionship and social support.
• Assisting with appointments and community activities.
