Job summary

Purple Patch Consulting is seeking compassionate Support Workers across Australia to assist NDIS participants living in their own homes. Most tasks are fundamental daily living supports, with a focus on independence, dignity and choice.

You'll perform domestic help, meal prep, personal care, transport and community access, building daily living skills, and offer social support. Reliable, communicative caregivers with a current Australian driver’s licence are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous paid experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Certificate III in Community Services or a relevant qualification.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• First Aid Certificate with CPR.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check issued within the last six months, or willingness to obtain one.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed.
• Reliable smartphone with mobile data.
• Reliability, good communication and boundary respect are essential for home-based support.

Responsibilities

• Support NDIS participants living independently in their own homes.
• Provide low to moderate intensity supports that improve independence and dignity.
• Assist with domestic tasks, meal preparation, transportation and community access.
• Support personal hygiene and personal care, including showering and feeding.
• Build daily living skills and provide social and emotional support.
• Offer companionship and help participants engage with the community.
• Ensure consistent hours and routine rosters where possible.
