Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Bowen Hills is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist people with a range of activities and supports as part of our Learning and Lifestyle Centre and Community Access programs.

You will support clients to participate in flexible learning, recreation, and community activities, helping build confidence and daily living skills while promoting independence and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Calm, compassionate and professional Disability Support Worker
• Availability to work across a permanent fortnightly roster
• Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel and Outlook
• Hold or be willing to obtain Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check, and a driver’s license with comprehensive insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist people with disabilities to participate in flexible learning programs, recreation and community activities
• Support daily living tasks and personal care where required
• Facilitate community connections, outings and skill-building activities
• Encourage independence, confidence and relationships with family and services
