McArthur is seeking a Disability Support Worker in Hinchinbrook to provide person-centred support across daily living activities, social engagement, and mobility tasks. The role covers care, personal support, and complex needs with training provided.

Applicants with Cert III or higher in Disability/Community Services or working towards it are preferred, with 6+ months in the field and a focus on safety, reporting, and compassionate care. Weekend penalties may apply, casual shifts available.

Qualifications

• Cert III or higher in Disability/Community Services or working towards it.
• 6+ months experience in the disability support field.
• Experience providing personal care support.
• Strong communication and WHS/reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualised support in activities of daily living and social/recreation.
• Assist with personal care, bowel care, and mobility equipment operation.
• Assist with medication administration and enteral feeding where required.
