Job summary

Help at Hand Support Services in St Marys NSW is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for casual engagements. You will deliver person-centred care, support daily routines, accompany clients to activities and appointments, and ensure safety and well-being across home and community settings.

Ideal candidates have Cert III in Disability, WWCC, police checks, a current first aid/CPR certificate, and a valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have Cert III in Disability or higher or equivalent experience.
• Current police check within 6 months from application date or applicable international check.
• WWCC current (Working with Children Check).
• First aid/CPR certificates (current).
• Full and clean Australian driver’s license.
• Own a fully insured and reliable vehicle.
• Be punctual, reliable and flexible with good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred disability support and daily routines.
• Assist clients with outings, appointments and social activities.
• Maintain safety and well-being of clients at home and in the community.
• Document progress and communicate with the support team as required.
