Job summary

Community Living Options is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a team supporting a female participant with complex needs in Grenfell/ Oakden. The role includes day 2:1 support and overnight 1:1 care, requiring patience, empathy and consistent communication.

You will follow the participant’s plan, engage in daily activities, and help build routine, safety and community participation while maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening
• Working with Children Check
• Driver's Licence and First Aid & CPR Certificates

Responsibilities

• Respond to emotions and behaviours of concern with compassion, consistency and professionalism
• Encourage independence through community access and daily activities
• Implement Behaviour Support Plans and contribute to safety and risk assessments
• Promote dignity, choice, empowerment and hope in every interaction

Education

Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care)
