Job summary

Community Living Options is seeking a Person Centred Support Worker for 1:1 support in Grenfell Street, Australia. The role is casual with one overnight shift and potential progression to permanent part-time as you grow with the team.

You will work under supervision to help the client live independently, access community activities and maintain wellbeing, using a strengths-based approach across daily tasks and routines.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability related check.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualifications.
• Medication Administration.
• Borderline Personality Disorder experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to each day, goals and preferences.
• Assist with daily routines to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Use own vehicle to access community, appointments and activities.
• Attend medical and allied health appointments with informed decision making.
• Encourage progress toward personal goals and life skills development.
• Deliver strengths-based, active support and maintain boundaries.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure safe, consistent support.
• Communicate openly with the participant, family and care team.
