Job summary

Community Living Options invites applications for a dedicated Support Worker to provide 1:1 person-centred active support to a participant with intellectual disabilities and diverse needs in Edwardstown. You will foster safety, understanding, independence and confidence, helping to pursue personal goals and meaningful daily activities.

Ideal candidates may have experience with low-level behaviours of concern, positive behaviour supports, flexible hours, and the ability to adapt to changing

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening.
• Working with Children Check.
• A current Driver’s License.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or similar qualification.
• We also welcome applicants without qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 person-centred, active support.
• Help with daily routines, independence and confidence building.
• Build a trusting and respectful relationship while supporting meaningful goals.
• Maintain accurate records reflecting progress, wellbeing and support needs.
• Deliver supports aligned with the participant’s plans and outcomes.

Education

Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or similar qualification
