Above & Beyond Disability Solutions is seeking Gold Coast–based Support Workers to provide safe, respectful, person-centred supports to NDIS participants in home and community settings. Duties include personal care, domestic tasks, meal prep, transport and community access, guided by each participant's goals and preferences.

Applicants should have Certificate III or higher in a relevant field, current First Aid and CPR, a valid Australian Driver's Licence, and a current NDIS Worker Screening

Formación

• Certificate III or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Individual Support, Community Services)
• Current First Aid certificate and CPR
• Current driver's licence and a reliable insured vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (Queensland)
• Blue Card if working with children
• Right to work in Australia
• referee checks and verification of qualifications
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module during induction
• Shows empathy, compassion and respect for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds
• Reliable, consistent and flexible to changing client needs

Responsabilidades

• Deliver supports as set out in each participant's support plan and rostered shifts
• Help participants make choices, participate in the community and build independence
• Respect culture and connection to community for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants
• Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards
• Report incidents, injuries, near misses, complaints or concerns to your supervisor immediately
• Complete accurate, timely and objective progress notes and shift records
• Observe and record behaviours and wellbeing accurately
• Maintain confidentiality and handle personal information per Privacy Act 1988 and AABDS requirements
• Follow safe work procedures, including manual handling, hand hygiene and PPE
• Coordinate with roster and attend shifts; notify if unable to attend
