Bolton Clarke Group in Cairns, Far North Queensland, seeks a frontline care assistant focused on nutrition and dining. You will support residents with person-centred meal services, ensuring choices are respected and meals are prepared and served with dignity.

This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and the ability to work across shift patterns, with training provided to meet Bolton Clarke Food Safety standards and dining framework.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service skills
• A compassionate and caring attitude
• Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Complete a police check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement

Responsabilités

• Provide care and support aligned with residents’ preferred daily routines with a strong focus on meals and dining.
• Assist with meal preparation, presentation and serving of resident meals.
• Support residents in choosing meals and meal timing preferences; engage socially during mealtimes.
