Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group on the Capricorn Coast near Rockhampton, Queensland, is seeking a frontline carer with a strong focus on nutrition and dining. You will support residents through person-centred care and the delivery of meals in daily practice.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, presentation and service, accommodating allergies, promoting resident choice, and maintaining dining areas to ensure a positive dining experience with dignity and social engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Compassionate and caring attitude.
• Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded).
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support aligned with residents' routines with focus on nutrition and dining.
• Assist with meal preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of meals.
• Support residents with meal selection and timing preferences.
• Maintain dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences.
• Engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during meals.
• Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required.
• Assist with quality food preparation per Food Safety Plan and Dining Framework.
• Maintain kitchen stock as required.
