Job summary

Lumia Care Pty is hiring Community Support Workers to assist clients in Sydney, Mosman and nearby suburbs. The role covers personal care, domestic support and companionship in home settings.

We offer both casual and permanent part-time opportunities with induction and development training, mentorship, and a referral program. A compassionate, learning mindset and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring and empathetic personality and be willing to learn on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.
• First Aid certificate required or willing to obtain; Police check or willing to obtain; NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain; Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, mobility, domestic tasks and companionship.
• Support clients with social activities, transport to appointments, shopping or outings.
• Provide care with dignity and respect, including showering, grooming and dressing.
• Help clients live at home with meals, cleaning and domestic support.

Education

Certificate III/IV in Community/Aged Care/Disability
