Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in the Rockhampton region. You will travel between homes, provide daily living assistance and domestic tasks to promote independence and quality of life.

This permanent part-time position requires a valid driver’s licence, a roadworthy insured vehicle, and comfort with using smartphones and tablets for care coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle for work - Essential
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
