Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with one of Australia’s largest funeral service providers to recruit a compassionate and professional Customer Care Coordinator to join their team in Holland Park.

You’ll be the first point of contact for families, providing reassurance, gathering essential information, and guiding them through initial arrangements with care and dignity. This is a full-time, on-site role in Brisbane with a strong training program.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, nursing, counselling or people-focused environments is highly regarded.
• Ability to remain composed and professional when speaking with grieving families.
• Strong patient, empathetic communication and data gathering skills.

Responsibilities

• Answering inbound calls from families after a death with empathy and professionalism.
• Listening carefully, asking sensitive questions and gathering accurate information.
• Coordinating next steps and communicating with funeral arrangers and teams.
• Maintaining records across multiple systems with accuracy.
• Managing competing priorities while supporting families and calls.
