Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker to support elderly clients in their own homes across Paddington, Redfern, Pyrmont, Newtown, Rosebery and surrounding suburbs. This permanent part-time role covers Monday to Saturday, with competitive pay and travel allowances.

You will assist with housework, shopping, meal prep, personal care, and transport to appointments, delivering compassionate, respectful, and flexible care in clients' communities.

Qualifications

• Empathy and a caring approach suitable for elderly care.
• Flexibility to accommodate evolving client needs.
• A valid Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
