Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking kind, patient Home Care Support Workers to assist elderly clients in Lake Cathie and surrounding areas. You will perform domestic support, meal prep, and personal care while helping clients stay independent at home.

The role offers casual shifts with opportunities to progress to part-time or permanent roles, with free training and development and a user-friendly app to manage shifts and timesheets. Pay follows the SCHADS Award.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the elderly preferred.
• Cert III in Personal Care or higher is desirable.
• Valid AU Driver's Licence required; a reliable vehicle and full comprehensive insurance; KM's paid.
• Police Check within six months or ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks including domestic support and meal preparations.
• Provide personal care tasks as needed.
• Offer community access and participation support for social events and appointments.
• Transport and accompany clients between locations using your own vehicle (KM's paid).
