Job summary

People Who Care Inc. in Perth South-East Metro is seeking a casual Support Worker to deliver home care services as part of our CHSP, VHC and HC programs.

You will provide tailored personal and social support to older people, people with a disability, and clients in their own homes, helping them live safely and independently. Responsibilities include meal assistance, transport and social activities, personal care, medication reminders, mobility support and domestic tasks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support (or similar) or equivalent experience.
• Current driver's license and reliable car.
• Current national police check (not older than 6 months).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meal assistance, including shopping and meal preparation.
• Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments.
• Social support, including outings and social activities.
• Personal care, including assistance with personal grooming, hygiene, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide support for health conditions, including skin care, medication reminders, and diabetes management.
• Assistance with mobility.
• Domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry.
