Job summary

McLean Care in Guyra, New South Wales, is seeking reliable Support Workers | Non-Direct Care for our Residential Aged Care home on a casual basis. This expression of interest covers morning, afternoon and evening shifts with remuneration of $27.77 per hour plus penalties and superannuation.

You will assist with hospitality, cleaning, meal service and daily resident support, helping residents live their best life in a respectful, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning or aged care.
• Certificate in Food Safety or Food Hygiene, or willingness to obtain.
• Be currently residing in Australia with full working rights. Sponsorship not available.
• Be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating and serving, ensuring food is presented to a consistently high standard.
• Clean and sanitise shared areas to create a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Support the delivery of laundry services, maintaining a high standard of care and presentation.
• Help maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment for residents.
• Work collaboratively with the team to support the daily needs and wellbeing of residents within the aged care home.
