Job summary

McLean Care is seeking Expressions of Interest for Care Services Employees to support residents in our Residential Aged Care team. You will help with daily living, promoting independence and dignity, and contribute to a compassionate home environment in Queensland.

The role offers flexible shifts (morning, evening and night) across a rotating roster, with a competitive hourly rate of $36.23 plus penalties and super.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Previous experience in residential aged care.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Physical capability for manual handling.
• Comfort using tablets or smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Supporting residents at mealtimes and helping provide a dignified dining experience.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' health, wellbeing or behaviour.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and positioning.
• Maintaining safety, hygiene and infection control standards.
• Working closely with nurses and the broader care team to support quality outcomes.
• Providing companionship, reassurance and respectful person-centred care.
