Job summary

Silverchain seeks a reliable Home Care Worker to support older clients in their own homes in Blacktown and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, domestic tasks, and companionship with a focus on independence and dignity.

Applicants should hold a Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) or higher, plus First Aid/CPR. A valid Australian driver’s licence and a vehicle are preferred. Training opportunities and robust support are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Provide personal care and medication support as per care plans.
• Complete care notes and communicate with supervisors and families.
• Maintain clean, safe home environment and assist with domestic tasks.
• Offer social support and companionship and accompany clients to appointments.
