Job summary

Silver Chain Group is seeking a Care Worker to support older clients at home in Blacktown and surrounding areas. The role requires a Cert III and at least 6 months' experience in aged care or related fields, with a valid license and a personal vehicle.

You will perform general housekeeping and personal care tasks, assist with medications, mobility, and daily activities, and help families by providing reliable, compassionate support in the home. Training and CPR/First Aid courses are provided.

Qualifications

• In addition, you will need a valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability.
• Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide home help services: housekeeping, meal prep, shopping.
• Provide personal care: get clients out of bed, showered, dressed, medications assistance.
• Assist with mobility and therapy goals; provide complex care for high needs.
• Provide social and emotional support and transport to activities/appointments.
