Job summary

BaptistCare Abbey Gardens Community in Warragul is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker to support residents with daily living and dignified care. This role offers a competitive hourly rate, 12% super, and not-for-profit benefits.

You’ll need Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and at least 12 months of residential aged care experience, plus a National Police Check and NDIS Screening Clearance. Weekdays preferred; shifts may vary across mornings/afternoons.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) required.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in residential aged care requested.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• NDIS Screening Clearance mandatory.
• Proof of working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in line with each resident’s care plan.
• Support residents with daily routines, wellbeing and personal goals.
• Listen, connect and understand what matters to each person.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families and stakeholders.
• Accurately record care and outcomes in BaptistCare systems.
• Identify and report workplace or consumer risks promptly.
• Contribute to a positive environment and continuous improvement.
