Job summary

BaptistCare Hedley Sutton Community in Camberwell is hiring casual Personal Care Workers to provide compassionate, person-centred support for residents. Join a not-for-profit care organization offering flexibility, flexible morning and afternoon shifts, and ongoing training in a supportive team culture.

Successful applicants will have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), 12+ months in residential aged care, and be willing to obtain a National Police Check.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, with weekdays preferred.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in line with each resident’s individual care plan.
• Support residents with daily routines, wellbeing and personal goals.
• Listen, connect and understand what matters to each person.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families and stakeholders.
• Accurately record care and consumer outcomes in BaptistCare systems.
• Identify and report workplace or consumer risks promptly.
• Contribute to a positive environment and continuous improvement.
