Job summary

Ozcare is seeking a Part-Time Care Assistant to join our Hervey Bay Aged Care facility. You will support clients with personalised care plans, help maintain independence, assist with daily activities and medications, and work as part of a compassionate care team.

We value a warm, caring nature, flexibility for varied rosters and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Vaccination, First Aid/CPR, and tech skills are required.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine is required.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates and good computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best care and support to clients per personalised care plans.
• Assist clients to develop skills to promote independence.
• Attend to personal care needs (showering, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with medication requirements as directed.
• Work with the care team using a holistic approach to client care.
