Job summary

Newcastle Anglican seeks Care Assistants to join their team at Mirrabooka Place, Gloucester NSW. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a great team environment and to make every moment matter by showing respect, compassion and integrity in resident care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Individual Support / Cert III Heath Service Assistance or BA Nursing Students 2nd + 3rd Yr.
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain.
• An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately document residents care/progress.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote Anglican Care's positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families.
• Consistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilities.
• Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications.
• Abide by Aged Care Standards.
• Work as an effective team member.
