Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join its casual pool working across aged care homes in the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to gain further experience in a great team environment, with respect, compassion and integrity in every moment you care

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, or RN student in 2nd/3rd year.
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately document residents' care/progress.
• Willingness to undertake pre employment checks - criminal history check, functional health assessment including drug and alcohol screening.
• Own reliable transport - Car + licence.

• Consistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilities
